We're very appreciative of the excitement fans have for the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series and would like to provide an update based on the feedback we've heard from players. We have released a patch that addresses the audio issues reported by PC players and some of the control issues that PC players have experienced. It was refreshing to get away from the usual reading dialog line by line that most games with this style use. The game spans over 5 Acts and has options for single player, offline co-op, online co-op, and online competitive.
The game is extensive and has more then enough missions and unlockables to keep you playing for a very long time. The unlockable items include new playable characters, new costumes, production art, and more. The sheer size of each Act is huge, with the first mission in the game running about 2 hours game time and each act is broken up into about 6 missions each. If the pace of the game continues as it currently is the game should run around 60 hours of gameplay.
Additionally, there are plenty of multiplayer options to keep players busy for a long time. Marvel Ultimate Alliance allows you to switch between over 20 superheroes to use in your party with up to 4 in your party at a time. As your heroes level up you gain points to spend in special abilities making them do more damage or last longer.
Archive of the version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Different from the later remastered version. There are no reviews yet. Be the first one to write a review. Admirable action game. Includes almost every marvel hero. A whole set of characters, levels and abilities.
Tasty like the marvel comics. Graphics are actually very fine and amusing. Sound effects are very cool also. Doom in his tracks. Keeping with the familiar four man teams, you'll set out track down doom and put an end to his plans.
Although the gameplay structure is similar to the previous games, a number of improvements have been made to showcase the s abilities and generally improve the gameplay. Some smaller improvements include features like automatically absorbing health and energy instead of having to specifically select characters to use it on and a noticeably improved AI on your team specifically, as they are much more involved and you don't have to baby-sit them during battles.
The RPG elements have been upgraded as well. Of course as the characters gain experience and increase levels, you have the ability to improve specific attacks or add new ones. A nice addition is the costumes which also have different attributes and can be improved. Some like Storm offer a nice selection and help keep the game fresh. Probably the most obvious and appreciated addition is the graphics.
